Kevin Lee Haase

Kevin Lee Haase, 62, of Albany, GA, passed away on December 22, 2024 at his residence. A memorial service will be held 5:00 PM, Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Joey Holland will officiate. A celebration of life will be held following the service at Joe’s Hall at The Loyal Order of The Moose # 1285 located on Philema Road.

Kevin was born on May 15, 1962 in Yankton, SD, to Clarence and Lorraine Haase and was raised in Kaylor, SD, a town of 80 people. He went to grade school in Kaylor and then graduated from Scotland High School in 1980. After High School, Kevin received his Associates Degre from The University of South Dakota at Springfield. Following college, Kevin was employed with Sherwin Williams Automotive Paints. He was transferred to Albany, GA in 1989 from Detroit Lakes, MN. He was the Martin Senour Paint Representative for Brooks Auto Parts NAPA Stores. He had been employed with Albany Ford, and served as General Manager at Master Body Works before operating his own businesses at 21st. Ave., and 808 West Broad. He was also a partner in K & S Custom Bikeworks where he was known for his custom motorcycle paint jobs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Kelly Haase and a sister, Nola Remmers. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Nancy Haase of Albany, GA, two children, Tyler (Caitlin) Haase of Ball Ground, GA and Alexa (Patrick) Humphrey of Katy, TX, a brother, Craig (Tammy) Haase of Sioux Falls, SD and four grandchildren, Houston, Fletcher, McCartney and Fowler and many close friends and relatives.
