Kevin Owens Barfield

Kevin Owens Barfield, 19, of Mitchell Co., GA died Friday, June 12, 2015 at his residence. Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Mitchell Co., GA. Rev. Rick Griner will officiate.

Kevin was born in Albany, GA and had resided in Mitchell Co., GA most of his life and attended Mitchell Co. Schools until an accident at the age of fourteen and then he was educated at home. He loved fishing, the Georgia Bulldogs and helping people. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his parents, Elton Owens Barfield and Tina Reed Barfield, Mitchell Co., GA, a brother, Keith Owens Barfield, a sister, Christina Lynn Poole and her husband Brian all of Leesburg, GA, maternal grandmothers, Patricia Reed, Portsmouth, OH, Shirley Ann Barfield, Leesburg, GA, two nieces and two nephews and several aunts and uncles from Ohio and Georgia.
