Kenneth W. (Kenny) Shewmake

Kenneth Wayne (Kenny) Shewmake, 66, of Albany, GA, died December 29, 2013 at Willson Hospice House. A visitation and viewing will be held January 1, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
A native of Plainfield, NJ, Kenny lived in Tuscaloosa, AL and grew up in New Orleans, LA, where he graduated from Warren Easton High School. He served in the United States Navy during the time of the Vietnam War and moved to Albany, GA in 1986 to work with Gray Commuications. He was also employed with Georgia Electric and Metro Services. Kenny was a member of the Loyal Order of The Moose # 1285.
Survivors include his wife, Lynn Shewmake of Albany, GA, two daughters, Deborah Dantin and her husband, Cory of Harvey, LA and Kristine Masters and her husband, Mike of Benton City, WA and four grandchildren, Tyler Dantin, Ally Dantin, Riley Shewmake and Charlie Masters. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Shewmake and Dorothy Riley Shewmake Hoerner.
