Kenneth Alison Rupert

Kenneth Alison Rupert, 85, of Albany, GA., died Sunday, December 23, 2018, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Amazing Grace Baptist Church. Rev. Morris Harp and Rev. Johnny Nixon will officiate. Interment will follow at Providence Primitive Baptist Church, Sylvester, GA with military honors.

Born in Batavila, New York, Mr. Rupert had resided in Albany, GA for the past thirty sevens years. He was a member, Past Exalted Ruler and District Deputy of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge #713, a member of the Loyal Order of Moose #1285, a member of the American Legion Post #30 and Olive Branch Lodge #39 F&AM, Leroy, NY, and was a member of the YMCA. Mr. Rupert served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Rupert was a golf and music enthusiast and played tenor sax in the church band. He was a member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church .He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Victoria Rupert, a brother, Roy Rupert and a nephew, Vernon Rupert.

Survivors include his wife, Eula Moore Rupert, Albany, GA., one son Keith W. Rupert (Debbie), of Lake City, FL., one daughter, Joyce Elizabeth Langford (Herman), of Leesburg, GA., one brother Vernon G. Rupert (Anne), of Alexander, New York, four grandchildren, William Gapa, Victoria Hill, Nate Gapa and Meghan Gapa and three great-grandchildren, Eli Hill, Ellie Hill and Addie Hill.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at Amazing Grace Baptist Church.
