Kenneth Wayne Lawson

Kenneth W. “Kenny” Lawson, Sr., 68, of Worth County, GA, died April 20, 2019 at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday at 4:00 PM at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery. Rev. Hilton Gillespie will officiate.

Born in Portsmouth, VA, Kenney moved to Albany, GA in 1980 from Greensboro, NC. He was employed with Susie’s Rugs and Pillows and was a member of The Grace Church of The Nazarene. Kenny loved Gospel music and he was a NASCAR guy. He always had a smile for you and loved politics, news and sports.

Survivors include his wife, Cathy Lawson and his children, Daisy Sue Lawson and Kenneth Wayne Lawson, Jr. all of Worth County, GA, a sister, Susie Lawson Hutchinson of Lee County, two uncles, Robert Baker of Crystal River, FL and Frank Baker of Greensboro, NC, a niece, Valerie Griffin of Lee County, GA and a nephew, Danny Highfill of Albany, GA.
