Kenneth D. Drawdy, Sr

Kenneth D. Drawdy, 69, of Albany, GA, died April 29, 2017 at Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Harrell will officiate. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Dawson. Robby Freeman, Mitchell Sellars, David Guerra, Ben Drawdy, Chad Goss and Garret Freeman will serve as active pallbearers.

Born in Berrien County, GA on April 23, 1948 to the late Benjamin and Cloris Watson Drawdy, Kenneth graduated from Dougherty High School in 1968 and lived all of his life in Albany. He was self-employed and the owner of Kenneth Drawdy Roofing and Repair before retiring. He was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church and attended the First Methodist Church of Albany. Kenneth enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Bronwood Hunting Club.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Wilson Drawdy of Albany, GA, two children, Ken Drawdy, Jr. and his wife, Stephanie of Lee County, GA and Dara Drawdy of Duluth, GA, four siblings, Judy Inferrera and her husband, Tommy of Boynton Beach, FL, Linda Freeman and her husband, Gary of Sasser, GA, Benjamin "Buddy" Drawdy, Jr. and his wife, Linda and Mitchell Drawdy all of Albany, GA and two grandchildren, Kenneth "Daylor" Drawdy, III and Abigail Layton Drawdy.

The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral at Mathews Funeral Home.
