Kenneth Norman Davis

Kenneth Norman Davis, 92, of Albany, GA passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at First Free Will Baptist Church. Rev. Mark Walker will officiate. Visitation will follow the services at the church.

Graveside services will follow Monday, May 16, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery with military honors. Rev. Donnie Burke will officiate. 

Born in Albany, GA, Mr. Davis was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Army. He was employed with Wallace Chevrolet for forty-three years and after retirement he was employed with Enterprise Car Rental for twenty-three years. He loved singing gospel music and was with three different quartets during his lifetime, The Harvesters. Joylanders and the Harmony Boys.

He was preceded in death by his parents,, James Thomas Davis and Lillian Farmer Davis, brothers, J. L. Davis, Leroy Davis and Alton, Davis and his first wife, Evelyn Harbuck Davis.

Survivors include his wife, Vickie Davis, Albany, GA, daughters, Connie Watkins (Larry), Albany, GA, Teresa Davis, Albany, GA, Bridgette Simmons (Ron), Sunny Vale, TX, son, Ashley Davis, Albany, GA, granddaughters, Savannah Thompson (Aron), Dumfries, VA, Morgan Simmons, Conway, SC, brother, Jack Davis (Martha), Albany, GA and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Kenneth N. Davis to the Alzheimers Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Avenue, 16th Floor, New York, NY 10001 or to Willson Hospice House, 320 Foundation Lane, Albany, GA  31707.
