Mr. Kenneth H. Clower, 91, died February 26, 2023.  

It is with profound sadness and overwhelming grief that we announce the passing of our dear father, Kenneth H. Clower (MSgt, US Air Force, Ret), 91, at his home in Albany, GA on February 26, 2023.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 11:00 am at Mathews Funeral Home.  Rev. Robert Gray will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Arlington, GA with Military Honors.
 
Mr. Clower was born in Arlington, GA on August 25, 1931 to Norman Noel and Essie Lou Clower.  He grew up in Arlington, was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church, graduated from Arlington High School in 1948 and received his AB from Georgia State College.
 
He joined the United States Air Force, where he served his country for twenty years. He retired from SAC Headquarters in 1971 and with his family, he returned to Arlington before moving to Albany, GA the same year.  Mr. Clower was employed with L.A. Mosher Veterinarian Supply, MacGregor Golf for many years and Curtis Mathis TV on Broad Ave.  He was a member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting and electronics.
 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Marjorie N. Paulino Clower, his brothers Henry Fredrick Clower and Leron Willie Clower. His sister, Shirley Clower Bass, his grandson, Kenneth James Clower, his daughter-in-law, Ellen Marie Clower and niece, Mary Lynn Floyd.
 
Survivors include a son, Terry Michael Clower, his daughter, Bonnie Kay (Bill) Hardegree and Sharon Clower Lomineck (Benny), his aunt, Wynelle H. Clower, sister in laws, Marla Thompkins Clower and Aileen Tennile Clower, grand-daughter, Kerri Meghan Clower (Steven), grandson, Spencer Noel Hardegree (Jordyn), great-grandsons, Nicolas Kenneth Clower (Haley), Michael Clower, great-grandson Preston Scott Hardegree and great-grand-daughter, Maybrie Elizabeth Hardegree and great-great-grandson David Monty Clower and great-great-grand-daughter Eleanor Mary Clower and a large circle of nephews, nieces and friends.
 
The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Mathews Funeral Home.
