Kelly Lynn Hancock

Kelly Lynn Hancock, 48, of Asheville, NC, formerly of Albany, GA, died July 1, 2017 at Mission Health Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Ross Powell will officiate. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

A native of Albany, GA, Kelly graduated from Albany High School in 1986, Darton College in 1988 and received her Bachelor's degree from Georgia Technical University. Kelly lived in Atlanta for many years before returning to Albany in 2006 and had lived in Asheville since 2007.

Survivors include her husband, Brian Lester Peterson of Asheville, NC, her parents, Charlie (Dot) Hancock and Therlus (Jimmy) Deen, a sister, Missy Hancock and a nephew, Dylan Bush all of Albany, GA, a number of nieces and nephews and her Dachshund "Sunny".

The family is at the residence of Charlie and Dot Hancock, 1006 Glenview Road, Albany, GA, 31707 and will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
