Kelley Leigh Pickett, 58, of Albany, GA died January 19, 2017 at her residence. She was a kind, beautiful and amazing Grams, mother, Aunt, daughter, sister and friend who never laid judgement on a soul and showed compassion and unconditional love to all. A visitation will be held January 28, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the home of Allison Chase, 4673 Early Rise Lane in Jacksonville, FL. With a private family service at a later time.
A native of Heidelberg, Germany, Kelley grew up in Orange Park, FL and graduated from Orange Park High School. She loved and participated in cheerleading from a young age and continued to cheer on the Florida gators during every game her whole life.
After living in Jacksonville, FL, working multiple jobs to provide for her children as a single mother, she moved to Albany, GA in 1999. Before her retirement, Kelley was an Assistant to the Librarian at Darton State College.
Survivors include her children, Allison Chase of Jacksonville, FL, Meghan Green of Albany, GA and Harrison Green of Jacksonville, FL, her father, Larry Pickett of Jacksonville, FL, a sister, Darby Kulbe (Dwight) of Albany, GA, Michael Pickett (Treasure) of Jacksonville, FL, two grandchildren, Ryleigh Green and Addyson Spriggs, three nieces, Carson Pickett of Seattle, WA, Jennifer Kulbe and Lena Kulbe both of Albany, GA, one nephew, Lamar Kulbe (Angie) and their children Danielle and Nathan all of Cincinnati, OH, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
