Keith "Dog" James Martin

Keith James Martin, 67, of Albany, GA passed away Friday, May 27, 2022. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Monday, May 30, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.at Leesburg Cemetery. Mr. Ross Powell will officiate.

Born in Carbondale, IL, Keith moved to Lee Co., GA in 1965 and attended Worth County School system before attending the Lee County School system where he graduated. He had resided in Lee County and Dougherty County most all of his life. He was a dog trainer and plantation manager. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill James Martin and Delores June Chamness Martin and a brother, Mark Martin.

Survivors include his children, Pacer Martin (Erin), Lee Co., GA, William Martin (Diane), Panama City, FL, Austin Martin, Brunswick, GA, a daughter, Cansas Purvis (Jason), Dougherty Co., GA, his step-mother, Faye Martin, Bronwood, GA, sister, Diane Martin (James), Anderson, SC, grandchildren, Laila, Jasmine (Fransico Lopez), Mia and great-grandchildren, Joseph, Paige, Taylor and T. J.

The family will receive friends Sunday, May 29, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
