Kay Thompson King

Kay Thompson King, 62, of Lee Co., GA, died Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, October 17, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Ralph Harrell will officiate. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Born in Albany, GA, Mrs. Thompson had resided in Lee Co., GA since 1984. She was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge # 1285 and was formerly employed with M & M Mars. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo Thompson and Esther Barefield Thompson and two brothers, Leon Thompson and Dale Thompson

Survivors include her husband, Larry M. King, a son, Mel King (Ashley) all of Lee Co., GA, a daughter, Karrie King McKee (Scott), Oviedo, FL, three sisters, Katheryn Paramore (Donald), Albany, GA, Liz Skinner (Alan), Lee Co., GA, Louise (Neal, deceased)Turner, Columbus, GA, six grandchildren, Collier King, Caden King, Brayden McKee, Karsen McKee, Jackson McKee, and Colton McKee, and a number of very special nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
