Karen Dorsey Couch, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, passed away peacefully at the Bearden household in Albany, Georgia, on December 20, 2024, after a courageous battle with chronic illness. She was 86 years old.
Her funeral mass will be 11:00 AM Monday, December 23, 2024 at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church. Father Ray Levereault will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday, one hour prior to the service at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church.
Born on November 25, 1938, in New London, Wisconsin, Karen lived a life full of love and dedication to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn Hall and Dorothy Hall, her brother Ronald Hall, and her husband, Norman Randall Couch, Jr., son, David Dorsey grandson Mark Dorsey, Jr. Karen will be remembered for her warm heart, unwavering spirit, and the deep love she had for her family. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Karen is survived by her loving daughter, Pamela Bearden (Loyd), and her sons, Clark Dorsey (Kiran) and Mark Dorsey (Tammy). She also leaves behind her cherished daughter, Cheryl Lavender (Phil), grandchildren Amanda Bearden, Wesley Chambless (Tanya), Brent Chambless (Lacey), Doranda Chambless (Tanner), great-grandchildren, Ethan Nelms, Aiden Register, Brianna Chambliss, and Colton Chambliss, Reese Griffin, Addison Chambless, who brought immense joy to her life. Other survivors include her sister, Linda Wilson (Lee), nieces and nephews, Ronald Hall, Jr. (Audree), their children Cory Hall and Jake Hall; Randy Hall (Lian), and their children Max Hall, Ariana Hall, Dillon Hall; Jennifer Casey (Paul) and their children Alex Casey, Mikayla Casey; Deann Cannon (Houston) and their child Holly Barfield (Pat) and Thomas Whitman.
