Judy Garrison Mims

Judy Garrison Mims, 76, of Dawson, died Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Piedmont-Newnan Healthcare.

Her graveside service will be 12 noon, Friday, April 29, 2022 at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Dawson, GA.  Rev Timothy Olds will officiate.

A native of Sumter, SC, Mrs. Mims was a retired teacher with the Terrell County School System and a member of the Dawson Presbyterian Church.  She loved reading, shopping watching Jeopardy and Hallmark Movies.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Alton Mims, Jr. and a sister Mary Watts.

Survivors include her daughters, Stephanie Mims Hayes (Bob), Sharpsburg, Alison Mims Christensen (Chad), Panama City, FL, grandchildren, Jamison Hall, Sam Christensen, Eli Christensen, Makenzie Hayes, Avery Hayes and Jack Hayes.

Then family will receive friends Thursday 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
