Judy Mattox

Judy Carter Mattox, 71, of Lee County, passed away Saturday, December 09, 2017 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. Judy was born in Thomasville, GA on June 21, 1946 to the late Hazel and James Carter. She was a beautiful, strong, sweet, loving woman who loved her daughters and granddaughters. She loved to fish and had a great sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Judy was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Carter. Survivors include her two daughters Lisa Mattox of Charlotte N.C. and Melissa Mattox of Leesburg, GA, her brother, Randy Carter of Panama City, FL, her sister, Nancy Smith of Boston, GA, two grandchildren Bianca Rose Suter of Charlotte, N.C. and Bailee Victoria Williams of Land-O-Lakes, FL, the father of her children John Mattox, and several nieces and nephews.
