Joyce E. Turner

Joyce E. Turner, 72, of Lee County, GA, died August 6, 2015 at her residence. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 4:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church of Leesburg. Pastor Todd Sullens will officiate.

A native of Lee County, GA, born to the late, Wilbon L. and Verna P. Etheridge, Joyce had lived in the Albany, GA area all of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of The First Baptist Church of Leesburg. She was preceded in death by her brother, W.L. Etheridge Jr. and a niece Donna Ethridge Griffin.

Survivors include her husband, Wallace L. Turner of Leesburg, GA, a son, Joel Earnest Lunsford who is on active duty in TheUnited States Navy, a daughter, Patricia Ann Lunsford of Nashville, TN, a sister, Linda Barfield of Inverness FL, two grandsons, Tripton and Gabriel Lunsford of Charleston, SC, three step-children Angie Timmerlin of Camilla, GA, Mark and Shawn Turner both of Leesburg, GA, six step-grandchildren, Brian Lay, Albany, GA, Jason Corley, N.C., Markie Turner, Worth County GA, Corey Turner, Rylie Turner, and Dylan Turner all of Leesburg, GA. two nieces, Lawanna Lammer of Inverness FL, and Louisa Awbery of Portland, WA, three nephews Jason Barfield of Oxford FL, W.L. Ethridge III of Atlanta, GA, and Rick Lunsford of Albany, GA.
