Joyce Clark Moreland

Joyce Clark Moreland, 91, of Dunwoody, GA, formerly Albany, GA, died Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Plantation South Assisted Living in Dunwoody, GA. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Leesburg Cemetery, Leesburg, GA. Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate.

Born in Sale City, GA, Mrs. Moreland had resided in West Palm Beach, FL, for ten years before returning to Albany, GA, in 1991. She moved to the Atlanta, GA, area in 2005. She was the former activities director with Calhoun Co., Nursing Home in Edison, GA and she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Simpson (Simp) Moreland, a daughter, Debbie Lee, brothers, Albert Clark, Roy Clark, Billy Clark and Tommy Clark, sisters, Hilda Dixon, Doris Dixon and Sara Lewis. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include three daughters, Dotti Warren (Johnny) and Deana Fenocchi (Guy) all of Lilburn, GA and Delayne Meaders (Alan), Duluth, GA, grandchildren, Jay Warren, Buford, GA, Josh Warren, Atlanta, GA, Joey Armistead, Grayson, GA, Vallee O`Hayon, Alpharetta, GA, Christina Meaders and Corey Meaders both of Atlanta, GA and Louis Fenocchi, Lilburn, GA, seven great-grandchildren and Sandy Fisher, Pete Lewis, and several other nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Cornerstone Bible Church, 869 Cole Dr., Lilburn, GA, 30047.
