Jowanna Gail Hammack

Jowanna Gail Hammack, 62, of Leesburg, GA died Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Thundering Springs Baptist Church. Rev. Giles Lovejoy will officiate. Interment will follow in Thundering Springs Cemetery.

Born in Albany, GA, Jowanna had resided in Albany, GA before moving to Leesburg, GA in 1974. She was employed with Goodwill Industries and was a member of Thundering Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert E. Hammack, Jr. and Foy Pearl Wright Hammack.

Survivors include a brother, Robert E. (Butch) Hammack, III (Brenda), Byron, GA, two sisters, Becky Schweers (Herman), Orlando, FL, Teresa Tabor (Daniel), Muldrow, OK and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at Thundering Springs Baptist Church.
