Joseph (Joe) Henry Solomon, Jr

Joseph Henry (Joe) Solomon, Jr., 69, of Albany, GA, died Thursday, April 24, 2013 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be held Monday, April 29, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Cemetery in Meigs, GA. Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate.

A native of Danielsonville, CT, Mr. Solomon had resided in Albany, GA for the past forty seven years moving from Jacksonville, FL. He was a 1961 graduate of Colombia High School in Lake City, FL and he attended Florida Gateway College. Mr. Solomon was an Insurance Representative with Gulf Life Insurance Co. He was a member of Triangle Lodge #708 F&AM, The Loyal Order of Moose #1285, and the American Legion Post #30. He was preceded in death by a brother Charles H. (Duckie) Williams.

Survivors include his sister Evelyn M. Williams Olschner of Jacksonville, FL, a brother, Julius W. Williams (Shirley) of Gainesville, GA and several nieces and nephews.
