Jon Henderson

Jon Henderson, 41, of Lee County died Friday, August 20, 2021 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. 

His memorial service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Mathews Funeral Home.  Rev. Mark Spraggins will officiate. 

A native of Lee County, Jon was employed at MCLB for 21 years and was a veteran of the US Marine Corps serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.   He enjoyed hunting, fishing and he was the Cubmaster for Cub Scout Pack 210 and a leader with Boy Scout Troop 210. 

Survivors include his wife Denean Henderson, his children, Kaitlyn Henderson, Emily Henderson, Jon Ansel Henderson, Jonah Henderson, his mother Fonda Henderson, brother, Bill Sapp and his wife Karen, and sister Amanda Sapp, nephews, Daniel Sapp (Moriah), nieces, Haile Erickson, Summer Wingate, Micah McJunkin, and great-nephews, Holden Sapp and David Sapp.

The family will receive friends Saturday one hour prior to the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
