Johnny E. Doggett, 85, of Doerun, GA died Wednesday, November 19, 2020 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Lighthouse Ministries.   Rev. Chris Turner will officiate.  Mr. Doggett was born and raised in Warwick, GA, moved to Albany, GA in 1951and then moved to Worth County in 1999. He was the Warehouse Manager for Washburn Moving and Storage for fifty-two years. He enjoyed being outdoors by participating in hunting, fishing and looking after his yard. Mr. Doggett was an active member of Lighthouse Ministries.  Over the years, he served the Lord as a Sunday School Superintendent, teaching Sunday School, served on the Finance Committee, was a member of the Board, sang in the Choir, anything from helping decorate to sweeping God’s House.  Mr. Doggett was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Katie Dixon Doggett, and a son, Robert Wayne Doggett. Survivors include his wife of sixty-three years, Geneva Doggett, Doerun, GA, his son, Johnny Ray Doggett and wife Sherrie, Worth County, GA, a sister, Thelma Clements, Oakfield, GA, and a half-sister, Nell Hubbard, Crisp County, GA, two grandsons, Christopher “Chris” Doggett, and Brandon (Jessica) Doggett, all of Albany, GA, and one great-grandson, Zion Doggett.
