John David Wright, Jr.

John David Wright, Jr., 40, of Albany, died Saturday August 10, 2019 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.  A Memorial service will be conducted Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Christian Covenant Church, 1105 W. 2nd Avenue. Pastor Bill Kreiser and Minister Bobby Wright will officiate.

Mr. Wright was born on July 3, 1979, in Lakeland, FL.  He had lived in the Southwest Georgia area since 1982 and was a carpenter.

Survivors include his daughters, Alexis (Lexi) Norman of Leesburg and Madison Kent of Worth county; mother, Jean Suggs of Cordele; father, John David Wright, Sr. of Oakfield; brothers, Bobby Wright (Heather) and Donovan Prothro (Tammie) of Leesburg,  Justin Wright (Jessica) of Albany; grandparents, Opal and Bob Wood and aunt, Susan Goodman of Leesburg; uncle, Billy Goodman (Rachel) of Albany; nieces, Emree and Elayna Wright; nephews, Devin, Dyllan and Bradley Wright; cousins, Amber and Austin Goodman  and fiancé Amelia Hickman of Albany. 

The family will receive friends after the service in the Fellowship Hall of Christian Covenant Church.
