John J. Tucker

John J. Tucker, 53, of Leesburg, GA, died August 24, 2014 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Chaplain John Warrner will officiate. Interment will follow in Leesburg Cemetery.

A native of Snellville, GA, born to the late John D. and Shirley Tucker, John graduated from Gwinnett County High School. He moved to Leesburg eighteen years ago from Waycross and was the maintenance engineer for the City of Sasser, GA.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Tucker of Leesburg, GA, a son, Joe Randall Pittman and his wife, Kala of Leesburg, GA, a daughter, Blair Elizabeth Tucker of Gainesville, GA, two grandchildren, Caden Allen Pittman and Ashton Randall Pittman both Leesburg, GA, his paternal grandmother, Edna Tucker of Waycross, GA and four aunts.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday at Mathews Funeral Home.
