John Wayne Holley

John Wayne Holley, 58, of Patmos, GA, died Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Milford Baptist Church. Rev. Preston Wilson and Mr. Bobby Donley will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Born in Arlington, GA, Mr. Holley had resided in Patmos most all of his life. Mr. Holley was an electrician employed with MCLB, a member of a gospel blue grass group named Made From Scratch and a member of Milford Baptist Church. Mr. Holley was preceded in death by his parents, Austin Wilmer Holley and Jeanette Harris Holley, two brothers, Jimmy Holley, Eudon Holley and a sister, Sybil Hayes.

Survivors include his wife, Sheree D. Holley, Patmos, GA, a daughter and her husband, Jamie Holley Ledford and Rocky, Leesburg, GA, four brothers, Austin Holley (Debbie), Blakely, GA, Sterling Holley (Earlene), Edison, GA, Ronnie Holley (Linda), Leary, GA, Tim Holley, Edison, GA, three sisters, Angeline Goodson (Lorrell), Leesburg, GA, Janice Mueller (Guy), Akin, SC, Jean Wiley, Edison, GA, two grandchildren, Elijah (Eli) Mark Ledford and Lyla Marie Ledford and a sister-in-law Rita Greene, Blakely, GA, brother-in-law, Stevie Donley (Barbara) and his mother-in-law, Sara Jean Spurlock all of Patmos, GA.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:30 p.m. until the funeral hour at Milford Baptist Church.
