Jody C. Mitchell

Jody C. Mitchell, 31, of Leesburg, GA, died Friday, February 28, 2014 at Phoebe North Medical Center. Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Riverside Cemetery. Rev. Neal Hager and Rev. Darwin Bullock will officiate.
Mr. Mitchell was born in Atlanta, GA. and moved to Leesburg, GA with his family at the age of thirteen. He was a graduate of Albany Technical College and was employed with Southern Painting. Mr. Mitchell was a member of Life Christian Center International and the Loyal Order of The Moose # 1285. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Randall Bullock and his great-grandmother, Mary Hall.
Survivors include his son, Shane Michael Mitchell, of Albany, GA, his parents, Donnie and Debbie Mitchell and two brothers and their wives, Cary and Mandy Mitchell and Kevin and Amanda Mitchell, all of Leesburg, GA, three step-children, Amber, Lauren and Grant, his grandparents, Leon and Cynthia Mitchell, Fred and Edna Riehl, both of Albany, GA and Jack and Shirley Pollock of Camilla, GA, three aunts, Gail Mitchell, of Albany, GA, Sylvia Hager and her husband,. Neal of Camilla, GA and Gail Harrison of Crawfordville, FL, three uncles, Randy Bullock of Jesup, GA., Darwin Bullock and his wife, Deanne of Ocklawaha, FL and Allen Bullock and his wife, Susie of Atlanta, GA. Survivors also include two nieces, Trinity and Sarah, two nephews, Trent and Perry, a great uncle, Billy Joe Davis and his wife, Christine of Lee County, GA, two great aunts, Celia Cochran and her husband, Guy of Camilla, GA and Gail Layfield of Leesburg, GA and numerous other family members.
The family will receive friends Monday, March 3, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home.
