JoAnne Barbre Hutchinson

JoAnne Barbre Hutchinson, 81 of Albany, died Saturday October 20, 2018 at the Willson Hospice House.

Her funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mathews Funeral Home with interment to follow in Floral Memory Gardens.

Born in Albany, Mrs. Hutchinson was retired from Sunnyland Farms as their office Manager.  After her retirement she moved to Lake Park, GA and was an active member of Lake Park United Methodist Church for years.  She never missed an opportunity to cook for family, the church or her friends.  JoAnne loved working in her yard and volunteering and playing games at the Baptist Village in Lake Park. 

She moved back to Albany almost 2 years ago and was a resident at Phoenix Senior Living.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Hutchinson, parents, J. C. and Sarah Fleming Barbre, brothers, Bill Barbre, Ben Barbre and Sam Barbre.

Survivors include her children, Regina Heape, Albany, Frank Heape, (Barbara), Albany, Anita Heape, Simpsonville, SC, Barry Heape, (Teresa), Albany, Penny Meek, (Larry), Tifton.  Her grandchildren, Amanda Register, Kristine Delcambre, Kyle Galliani, Ben Galliani, Missy Thomas, Christopher Heape, Justin Heape, Corey Meek and Tyler Hendricks, 12 great grandchildren and her siblings, Jim Barbre, Acworth, Margaret Jolly, Cedartown, Judy Willson, Cartersville , Frankye LeMay, Albany, Bob Barbre, Albany, Ginny Davis, Greenville, SC, Richard Barbre, Albany.

The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
