Joanne Terese Bryan

Joanne T. Bryan, 65, of Lee County, GA, died August 19, 2016 at her residence. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM at St. Teresa's Catholic Church. Rev. Finbarr Stanton will officiate. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

A native of Norwood, MA, Joanne was born to the late John and Gilda Silvi. Joanne moved to the Albany, GA area when she was twelve years old and graduated from Dougherty High School. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design from the University of Georgia. Upon graduation from college, she worked at Gillespie Interiors for many years and was a participant in the creation of the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital gift shop and served as store manager for several years. She went to work at Kay Fuller Interiors when it opened and was the Store Manager until retiring. Joanne was a member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church where she volunteered on various committees.

Survivors include her husband, Paul C. Bryan of Lee County, GA, two children, Mark Bryan and his wife, Amanda and Laura Stump and her fiance, David Johnson all of Columbus, GA, six siblings, Rosemarie Sapp of Snellville, GA, Peter Silvi and his wife, Sherry of Baconton, GA, Jim Silvi and his wife, JoAnn of Jacksonville, AR, Tony Silvi and his wife, Debbie of Baconton, GA and Mary Hickman and her husband, Michael of Cape May, NJ and three grandchildren, Logan Stump, Beau Bryan and Brentlee Bryan. She was preceded in death by a sister, Loretta Slater.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at The Bindery at Oakland, 445 Oakland Parkway, Leesburg, GA, 31763.

A Rosary will be held at 9:00 AM before the funeral mass at the Day Chapel at St. Teresa's Catholic Church for those wishing to participate.
