Joann Odom Watson

Joann Odom Watson, 66, of Leesburg, GA, died Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at Willson Hospice House. Private graveside services will be held at Leesburg Cemetery.

Ms. Watson was born in Albany, GA to the late James and Bessie McMillan Odom and had lived in Lee County the majority of her life. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her grandchildren and family. She especially loved her dog, Mia.

She had been employed as a security guard for US Security and was preceded in death by a brother, James "Doodle" Odom, and four sisters, Verna Rouse, Margie Stamper, Shelby Withers, and Emmie McGalliard.

Survivors include her son, Roger Watson, Jr. and his wife, Shannon, of Eatonton, GA, two sisters, Betty Hardison of Lee Co, GA, and Peggy Tompkins and her husband, Freddie of Worth Co, GA, four grandchildren, Turner, Hayden, Taylor, and Todd, and several nieces and nephews.
