Joan Pinion Norman

Joan Pinion Norman, 66, of Arlington, GA, died Saturday, January 3, 2015 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Morgan Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Chris Holdorf will officiate.

Born in Moultrie, GA, Mrs. Norman had resided in Arlington, GA for the past eighteen years moving from Thomasville, GA. She was a home maker and a member of Morgan Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dody Norman, her husband, Ronald Lee Norman, a brother, Arthur Pinion and a sister, Laverne Ponder.

Survivors include a son, Joseph (Jody) Norman (April), Arlington, GA, two daughters, Kim Vick (Bobby), Thomasville, GA, Jennifer Cruz (John), Montgomery, AL, a brother, M. L. Pinion, Moultrie, GA, two sisters, Rosa Ponder (Benson), Jacksonville, FL and June Burnham (Randall), Moultrie, GA, three sister-in-laws, Wanda Martin (George), Morgan, GA, Beth Smith (Jack), Lee Co., GA, Becky Rorick (Robert), Ooletwah, TN a brother-in-law, Phil Norman (Marihelyn), Edison, GA, ten grandchildren, Kristin Norman, Bailey Norman, Colby Norman all of Arlington, GA, James Vick, Amanda Vick, Josh Vick all of Thomasville, GA and Christina Cruz, Jack Cruz, Johnny Cruz and Annabelle Cruz of Montgomery, AL.

The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
