Jimmy Bartley Tabb

Jimmy Bartley Tabb, 74, of Leesburg, GA, died Sunday, September 28, 2014 at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Gordon Cemetery, Colquitt, GA. Mr. Barney Williams will officiate.

Born in Colquitt, GA, Mr. Tabb had resided in Albany, GA most all of his life. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the Army and had been employed with Lilliston Corporation until the closing of the company. He was owner of T & T Paint Company, an avid hunter and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Maria Angelica Tabb.

Survivors include his wife, Kim Tabb, Leesburg, GA, three daughters, Sylvia Tabb Maxwell, Pittsburgh, PA, Susan Michelle Tabb, Leesburg, GA, Laura Ashley Hattaway (Matthew), Chattanooga, TN, a sister, Jo Ann Cantrell, Albany, GA, four grandchildren, Landon Tabb Overby, Emma Grace Hattaway, William (Liam) Irwin Maxwell, II, Levi John Maxwell, his special nephew, Turner Kirksey, many other nieces and nephews and his three dogs, Buddy, Buffy, and Maggie.
