Jimmy Wilton Starr, 81, of Fort Gaines, GA died Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. Memorial services will be held at his residence, (1367 Cottonhill Road), on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.

Born in Arlington, GA, Mr. Starr had resided in Fort Gaines, GA since 2010 moving there from Ellijay, GA. He had served in the National Guard and was retired from Trailways Bus Lines as their parts manager. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Lasseter Starr, Fort Gaines, GA, two sons, Jimmy Starr, Decatur, GA, Terry Starr, Fort Gaines, GA, three daughters, Deborah Hembree and Belinda Starr both of Fort Gaines, GA, Brenda Kay Moran, Villa Rica, GA, a brother, Rodney Starr, Chicago, IL and eight grandchildren.
