Jimmie Mae Wall

Jimmie Mae (Clenney-Cox) Wall, 94, of Albany, GA, died Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Lee County Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Russell Anglin will officiate. Interment will follow in Mars Hill Cemetery in Edison, GA.

A native of Calhoun County, GA, Mrs. Wall had lived in Albany, GA since 1944 moving from Dawson, GA. She was the former owner of Jimmie's Beauty Shop, a member of Raleigh White Baptist Church and a life member of the VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, Earl Wall of Albany, GA, two sons, T. Lee Cox and his wife, Carolyn and James A. Cox and his wife, Elizabeth of Albany, GA, two daughters, Sara Cox Kofoed and her husband, Roy of Omaha, NE and Brenda Cox Wintersole of Albany, GA, a step-son, Patrick L. Wall and his wife, Peggy of Greensboro, NC, two sisters, Gussie Ree Peak of Arlington, GA and Dorothy Carter of Quitman, GA, a brother, Ben Clenney of Albany, GA, seven grandchildren, Tammi Suess and her husband, Greg, Heather Cox, Stephen Cox and his wife, Leigh all of Albany, GA, Steven Kofoed and his wife, Christy of Omaha, NE, Richard Wintersole and his wife, Kim of Elyria, OH, Jennifer Deridder and her husband, James of Fenton, MI and Teresa wall of Charlotte, NC, eight great-grandchildren, Kathleen Watson, Max Kofoed, Justin Kofoed, Richie Wintersole, Joshua Wintersole, Morgan Deridder, Shelby Deridder and Drew Deridder. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sandy Kofoed, two sisters Emmie Johnston and Betty Scruggs, two brothers Richard Clenney and Robert Clenney.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 18, 2012 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Mathews Funeral Home.
