Jewell Elizabeth McDonald

Jewell Elizabeth McDonald, 91, of Albany, GA, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.  Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 23, 2018 at 11:00 am at Mathews Funeral Home.  Mr. Don Moore will officiate.  Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery. 

Jewell was born in Sylvester, GA to the late John and Bessie Allen.  She treasured the outdoors, camping and enjoyed fishing. She had a passion for animals, especially Susie. Ms McDonald loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.  

Survivors include her son Billy Beasley of Baconton, GA, a daughter Melba Cravey of Albany, GA, grandchildren John Beasley of Baconton, GA, Jackie Strickland of Wigham, GA, Jeff Beasley of Albany, GA, Greg Beasley of Sylvester, GA, David Beasley of Camilla, GA, Tammy Moore of Albany, GA, and Teresa Summers of Leesburg, GA, fourteen great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and extended family.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at Mathews Funeral Home.
