Jesse Paul McLauchlin, Jr

Jessie Paul McLauchlin, Jr., 80, of Albany, GA, died Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Wynfield Park Health and Rehabilitation Center. Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Zion Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Crisp County, GA. Dr. Ronald R. Baxley will officiate.

A native of Blakely, GA, Mr. McLauchlin served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict and moved to Albany, GA in 1960. He was employed with Lipsey Mechanical, Inc. until his retirement and later worked with Central Plumbing and Heating. Mr. McLauchlin was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church and was attending Amazing Grace Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mama Ann McLauchlin of Albany, GA, his daughter and her husband, Sherrie and Hussain Alkhfagi of Port Orange, FL, a granddaughter, Lacey Breann Lee of Port Orange, FL, three grandsons, Patterson Hobby, Ryan Hobby and Harrison Hobby all of Daytona Beach, FL, three brothers, Curt McLauchlin and his wife, Rose of Sopcoppy, FL, Don McLauchlin and his wife, Pat of Seville, FL and Robert McLauchlin and his wife, Frances of Bartow, FL. He was preceded in death by a son, Gary McLauchlin in 2011.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday at Mathews Funeral Home.
