Jesse A. Clark, Jr

Jesse A. Clark, Jr., 84, of Doerun, GA, formerly of Albany, GA died Friday, May 6, 2016 at Phoebe North Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, May 8, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Jeff Barker will officiate. Interment will follow in Funston City Cemetery.

Mr. Clark was born in Colquitt Co., GA and moved to Albany, GA in 1955. He was retired from the Albany Fire Department, a Navy veteran of the Korean War and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse A. Clark, Sr. and Vera Barnes Clark, his wife, Mary Ethel Bryan Clark, a son James Clark and brothers, Joe Clark, Jerry Clark and Ray Clark.

Survivors include two sons, Jeffery Scott Clark, Albany, GA, and Jesse Thomas Clark and his wife Susan, Doerun, GA, sisters, Betty Baron, Moultrie, GA, Jean Parris, McDonough, GA, a brother, Toby Clark, Sylvester, GA, seven grandchildren, Anna Clark, Scott Clark, Christina Chamberlain, Elizabeth Gibson, Shannon McFadden, Mandy Clark, Bryan Clark and eleven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
