Jerry Myers Wimberly

Jerry Myers Wimberly, 78, of Albany, GA, died January 4, 2017 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Tom Muelller and Rev. Debbie Cone will officiate. A private entombment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Jerry was a native and lifelong resident of Albany, GA. She was a member of the AARC family, was a former member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and currently a member of Avalon United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her sister and her husband, Beth and Don West, two nieces and their husbands, Kathy and Steve Sheffield and Jenni and Jim Bode all of Albany, GA, a great-niece and her husband, Rebecca and Andrew Turner and their daughters Mary West and Millie Jane of St. Simons Island, GA, a great-nephew, Andrew Bode of Athens, GA, cousins, Ginger Myers, Carl Myers, Herbert Gladin all of Albany, GA, Jane Raybon of Winder, GA, David Evans of Ashburn, GA, Daniel Evans of Montana, her caregivers, Ophelia Guest, Deen Johnson, and Tisa Amos, all of Albany, GA.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
