Jerry W. Simpson

Jerry W. Simpson, 61, of Morgan, GA, died November 5, 2013 at his residence. Memorial services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM graveside at Cordray Cemetery. Rev. Jackie Williams will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.

A native of Albany, GA born to the late Roy and Alma Foy Simpson, Jerry had resided in Calhoun County, GA since 1982. He was a self employed carpenter and was a Baptist by faith.

Survivors include his wife of thirty seven years, Ann Turner Simpson of Morgan, GA, his children, Robby W. Simpson and his wife, Shelby of Banks County, GA and Laura McNease and her husband, Brandan of Colquitt, GA, his brothers, Roy Simpson, Jr. and his wife, Jean of Putney, GA and Bill Simpson and his wife, Shirley of Carrolton, GA, a sister, Sue S. Renew and her husband, James of Worth County, GA and his grandchildren, Rider W. Simpson and Ella Simpson of Banks County, GA and Graycee McNease, Ryles McNease and Reed McNease of Colquitt, GA.
