Jerry Daniel Musgrove

Jerry Daniel Musgrove, 73, formerly of Albany, died Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at his home in Hoschton, GA.

He is survived by his daughter, Holly Farrell (Charles Farrell Jr); stepsons Harry Simmons III (Genevieve Simmons) and Kyle Simmons (Antje Simmons and their children Charlotte, Elise, and Jasper); and siblings Dorothy Goodwin (Warner), Vern Musgrove, Raymond Musgrove (Tilda) and Ronnie Musgrove; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Laura Kay Stewart Musgrove, who died November 2, 2024, of eleven years, his parents Ruby and V.W. Musgrove and sisters Patricia Musgrove and Shirley Shockley.

Jerry was the youngest of seven, and was born in Albany, GA. Jerry and Kay resided in Hoschton, GA. He was an accomplished truck driver and retired in 2013 from Southeastern Freight Lines. He was an avid UGA fan, delighted in the arrival of hummingbirds every year to his many feeders, and shared a love of cooking with Kay.

The combined funeral for Jerry and Kay will be held on 11:00 am, Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Mathews Funeral Home in Albany, GA.
