Jerry Aldon Folmar

Jerry A. Folmar, 69, of Leesburg, GA died April 17, 2015 at Willson Hospice House. Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Stan Glass and Dr. Greg Davis will officiate.

A native of Albany, GA. Jerry was born to the late Aldon and Delmar Folmar. He graduated from Albany High School in 1964 and attended Albany Junior College. Jerry owned and operated Satellite TV Viewing, owned and operated his land clearing business and was a Building Contractor. For the last twenty five years, he was an Investigator with The Dougherty County Sheriff's Office (ADDU). Jerry was a member of Life Christian Center International.

Survivors include his wife, Billie Giles Folmar, two sons, Jerry Shane Folmar and his wife, Pam and Jason Clint Folmar all of Lee County, GA, two sister-in-laws Jan Weathersby and her husband, John and Gail Wilson and her husband, Billy also of Lee County, GA, his grandchildren, Gage Clint Folmar, Jessica Luckie and Justin Kirkland, his great-grandchildren, Rylee Luckie and Kinsley Luckie, three nieces, Carmen Miller, Tracey Tumlin and Angel Hendricks, two nephews, Matt Weathersby and Chris Wilson and three great nieces, Skylar Tison, Allie Miller and Breanna Weathersby.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, one hour prior to the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
