Jerrie Bradshaw

Jerrie Ruth Robison Bradshaw went to her heavenly home on March 26, 2024 in Albany, GA. She was born January 17th, 1935 in Melissa, Texas to Oral and Jessie Robison. She married Bobby Joe (BJ) Bradshaw in Sherman, Texas on November 21, 1953. After raising her family, she furthered her education and received her associates degree with honors and became a real estate and insurance broker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Bradshaw, and her sons, Bobby Joe Bradshaw, Jr. and Paul Allen Bradshaw (Janie). Her grandson, Reed Curtin, her brother, Charles Reid Robison (Kitty) and her sister, Elizabeth Ann Hammontree (Curtis) also preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son, William David Bradshaw of Conroe, Texas and a daughter, Audrey Bradshaw Curtin of Albany, GA; and her grandchildren, Jessica, Michelle, Emily, Katie, Shelby and Dustin; as well as her great grandchildren, Claire, Robert and Illyria.  She is also survived by multiple loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

There was nothing Jerrie could not do. She was multifaceted in that she grew her own vegetables at the ranch, canned and pickled her home grown food, raised cattle, rode horses, cooked for crowds, quilted and sewed so beautifully, deep sea fished, landscaped her homes, had a herd of dogs… She always made it all look so easy.

She maintained high standards and academic excellence throughout her life. She managed multiple businesses for our father’s career in the pipeline valve industry in Texas and Mexico. Civically, she was a lay minister in the Episcopal Church, was a delegate for the State of Texas and a member of the Republican National Convention.

She was intelligent, beautiful, and so put together! She will be sorely missed, and her influence and legacy will continue to guide us.
