Jerome Edward Miles

Jerome “Jerry” Edward Miles, 75, of Albany, GA., died Thursday, September 16, 2021 at his residence. The family will have a memorial service Friday, September 24. 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Andersonville National Cemetery with military honors. Rev. Ridenour Lamb will officiate.

A native of Hartford, CT., Mr. Miles was a veteran in the United States Navy. He was a self-employed entrepreneur having done several different kinds of work. He was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks # 937 in Tallahassee, FL.

Survivors include his sons, Jeremy Miles, Sr. (Angela) of Doerun, GA., Edward Miles (Fran) of Sylvester, GA., James “Tony” Miles (Rose) of Donalsonville, GA., and Joshua Miles, Sr. of Doerun, GA., sixteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations in memory of Mr. Miles to The Wounded Warriors Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.

The family will receive friends at his house following the service.
