Jennie Lee Ruelas Tyre, 85, of Albany, GA died Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 17, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Leesburg Cemetery, Leesburg, GA. Mr. Ross Powell will officiate. Born in Albuquereque, New Mexico, Mrs. Tyre had traveled and resided in many states and England while being a military wife. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her grandchildren, crafting and spending time with her family. She was retired from Belk’s of Albany, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Vera Ruelas and her twin sister, Angie Hernadez. Survivors include her husband, Murril L. Tyre, Albany, GA, two sons, Lloyd Tyre (Cheryl), Spokane, WA, Richard Tyre, Oceanside, CA, two daughters, June Chaney (Dale), Griffin, GA and Jo Ann Daniel (Steve), Albany, GA, a brother, Joe Ruelas (Mary), Los Angeles, CA, ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.
