Jeffery D. Pate

Jeffery D. Pate, 55, of Albany, GA, formerly of Orlando, FL, died June 28, 2024 at his residence. No services will be held at this time. Jeffery was born in Mobile, AL on January 13, 1969 and as an infant, he moved with his family to Albany, GA. He graduated from Albany High School in 1986 where he was on the Baseball Team. After High School, he attended and graduated from Johnson and Wales Culinary School in Charlotte, NC. 

Jeffery spent the rest of his career in Florida, moving to Orlando, FL and was employed by Disney, and Sodexo. There he raised his children and was employed as a Chef for many years. He later owned and operated the Four J’s Restaurant. Jeffery moved back to Albany, GA two years ago and enjoyed fishing and the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs. 

Survivors include his children, J.D. Pate, Jr of Kissimmee, FL and Lena Pate of Lake Wales, FL, his mother and step-father, Cheryl and Sonny Martin of Albany, GA, a granddaughter, Burklee Ouellette, his siblings, Tommy (Nuana) Pate of Thailand, Christi (Scott) Haskett of Colorado Springs, CO and Jenni Pate (Rob Jones) of Austin, TX and his step-siblings, Haskell Martin IV of Gainesville, FL, Matt Martin of Cairo, GA and Elizabeth (Craig) Hall of Chantilly, VA.
