Jeanette Brock Kelley Bowden

Jeanette Brock Kelley Bowden born to Abe and Jewel Brock in Plant City, Florida, on September 3, 1940. Jeanette married Lamar Wingard and to this union had three children: Janet Cornett (Ernie Cornett) Republic, MO., David Wingard (deceased), and Pam Bledsoe (Kelly Bledsoe) Brookline, MO. Jeanette had several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Brock Cemetery in Decatur County, GA. Rev. Charles Jones will officiate.

Jeanette married William Kelley and lived in Albany, Georgia, for 20 years until William's death in the year 2000. She then moved to Springfield, MO, and met and married Ralph Bowden in 2005. They were both members of Park Crest Baptist Church.

Jeanette was a shopaholic and knew where all the bargains were. Ralph always said they paid her to take it out of the store. Jeanette loved to cook for and to entertain her family and friends.

Visitation will be at Park Crest Baptist Church on Republic Road from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 10, 2014, with funeral services at 2:00 p.m. Monday, at the Church under the direction of Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, LTD., DeGraffenreid-Wood Crematory.
