Jean Jordan Webb

Jean Jordan Webb, 89, of Leary, went to her Heavenly Home Thursday, March 20, 2025, at her home surrounded by family.

Her graveside service will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Leary City Cemetery. Rev. John Beck and Rev. Jim Morrow will officiate.

Born July 22, 1935, in Albany, Jean grew up in Calhoun County and graduated from Morgan High School. She attended Florida State University and married C. Z. “Bobo” Webb who, after he graduated from the University of Georgia, was an officer in the U. S. Navy, where he was a pilot. After her husband retired from the Navy, they moved back to Calhoun County where they raised their family, and she worked with the family business her father started, Harvey's Peanut Company.

Jean had a variety of loves and hobbies, decorating for Christmas and watching the grandkids open presents, watching all kinds of sports, which included FSU Football, which she was a season ticket holder, and the Atlanta Braves. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Albany and the Women of Worship Sunday School Class.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Marjorie McClelland Jordan, her husband, C. Z. “Bobo” Webb, a son Don Webb, and her beloved four-legged son Rufus.

Survivors include her sons, Steve Webb (Tammie), Jimmy Webb (Bridgett), Wesley Webb (Lynne), grandchildren, Parker Douglas (Rob), Devin Killmeier (Eddie), Harris Webb (Kelsie), Jeremy Webb (Cristina), Justin Webb (Elise), Ryan Whitehead (Jamie), Brentson Whitehead (Rebecca), ten great grandchildren, a sister, Barbara McLendon (Bob), a brother Bill Jordan (Mary), and a wonderful group of ladies that have assisted her, Joan Johnson, Janet Harris, Kiley Stinson, Lula Johnson, and Clementine Shedrick.
