Jean Oliver Mackey

Jean Oliver Mackey, 68, of Dawson, died Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at her residence.

The family will receive friends Sunday 1 to 3 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.  There will be a private service held.

Born and raised in Dawson, Jean was a retired Dental Hygienist working with Dr. Landau in Albany and Dr. Kimbrell in Americus.  She was a graduate of Terrell Academy.  She was preceded in death by her parents, C. H. “Hap” and Clesetee “Tee” Hobbs Oliver.

Survivors include her son, Justin Mackey, brother W. Howard Oliver, (Becky), nephew, Chas Oliver (Pati), aunts, Nita Hobbs, Carolyn Oliver Ricketts, and 2 great nieces.
