Janie Hiers Crosby

Janie Hiers Crosby, 61 of Leesburg, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015 at her residence.

A native of Savannah Georgia, she had resided in Leesburg for the past two years after moving from Warner Robbins, Georgia. Janie graduated from Darton College with an associate's degree and was currently working on her bachelor's degree in nursing. Mrs. Crosby had a love for all animals. Her favorite pastimes were reading and working in the yard. Janie worked as a Registered Nurse providing private home healthcare. Ms. Crosby loved her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Jackson Hiers and Elizabeth Beck Hiers.

Survivors include her two daughters Brooke and Alan Cross, and Candace and Ron Hayes, both of Leesburg, GA., one grandson, Nathan Hayes of Leesburg, GA, two sisters, one brother, and the father of her children, Buddy Crosby of Gordon Alabama.
