Janie Ann Cannon

Janie A. Cannon of Lake Blackshear, GA, (Worth Co.), beloved daughter, sister, and friend died Monday August 11, 2014 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be held Thursday August 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Warwick United Methodist Church, (Warwick, GA). Rev. Rick Hamilton will officiate.

A lifelong resident of Albany, GA before moving to Lake Blackshear, GA, Janie attended Albany public schools and graduated from The University of Georgia with a master's degree where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority. She recently retired from Miller Brewing Co. Janie will be truly missed by all who were blessed to know her. She had a quiet spirit, a loving heart, and a devotion to her little animal friends, Halley and Scrap. She was preceded in death by her father Lovick Edward (Bobo) Cannon, II.

Survivors include her mother Betty Jean Shealy Cannon, three brothers, Ed Cannon, Chris Cannon, and Bob Cannon, sister-in-law of Marty Cannon and Ann Cannon.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at Warwick United Methodist Church.
