Janice Thomas Sanders

Janice Thomas Sanders, 74, of Leesburg, died Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

Her memorial service will be 6:00 PM, Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Mathews Funeral Home.

A native of Tallahassee, Mrs. Sanders had lived in the Albany area for more than forty years and was retired from Bellsouth (AT&T) as an operator.  She enjoyed music, dancing, and being with friends and family.

Survivors include her daughter, Gina Ferguson (Scott), grandchildren Millie and Stewart Ferguson, sisters, Sandy West (Harold), Beverly Lawson (Jeff), brother, Britt Thomas and her mother Joyce Thomas, nieces Colleen Thomas, Erin Thomas, Lauren (Frank) Thomas and nephews Mason Frierson , Trey (Sophia) Thomas, Nick Singletary.
