Janet Watson Simpson

Janet Watson Simpson, 64, of Albany, died Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Wilson Hospice House. The graveside funeral service will be conducted Friday at 11:00 AM at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery. Rev. Billy Joe Butler will officiate.

A native of Tift County, GA, Mrs. Simpson had resided in Albany since 1954 moving from Bainbridge, GA. She was a retired administrative assistant with the Civil Service and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband, Clifford S. Simpson, Albany, GA, a daughter, Kellianne Tarrer and her husband, Ryan of Leesburg, GA, a step-daughter, Teresa Ann Vernon and her husband, Hut of Fortson, GA and four grandchildren, Christian Adams, Caitlyn Adams, Julieann Adams and Dusty Thomas.

The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
